Much to the wild animal’s chagrin, I’m headed out. Without him.
There happens to be a great concert tonight and I don’t need to babysit a drunken jackalope. I don’t want to hear him talking about all the bunny tail we’re going to get either.
On a personal note, this is a new situation for me. I’ve only really known travel as the one headed out, not the one staying. It is a temporary situation, sure, but requires some adjustment on my part. I know AJ is going to have an amazing time, and it is going to be so much fun incorporating what she’s studying into our plans, so I’ll be keeping myself busy until I can join her.
Hoooo boy. He’s already started.
